The Automatic Customer is a great book for any entrepreneur. Using examples, John walks readers through the various ways to turn your business into a subscription business in order to help improve cash flow. I found this book particularly helpful in helping me to think outside the box and imagine the various directions in which I could take my company. The book also includes various formulas to help you determine if your subscription business is viable. I strongly recommend this book.

“Hooked”, By Nir Eyal

Nir Eyal (www.NirandFar.com) hit a home run with his book “Hooked.” Hooked is one of those rare business books that is both entertaining and informative. Using case-studies, Nir walks the reader through an easy to follow system for engaging customers and building “habit-forming products.” If I have any criticism, it is only that the example in this book are tech heavy, but one doesn’t have to be very creative to see how the lessons apply in the physical world as well. I rank this book alongside other business classics like Malcolm Gladwell’s “Outliers”.

America’s number one expert on motivation, David Rich, takes a in depth look at interpersonal relationships in this easy to read book.

Rich’s theory is that in order to increase your chances of success in social interactions, you must first become “contagious”. He defines this as a mixture of confidence, curiosity, connectedness, commitment, conviction, cheerfulness, courage, competency, compassion and contentment and gives a step by step guide to achieve each.

This book is the perfect quick read for anyone looking to increase their influence in the business world.
